Rayel (she/ her) is a multidisciplinary aerial artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. Whether she is climbing a silk, riding a horse, doing contortion on a paddleboard, or coming up with ways to combine all three, she always welcomes a challenge. Rayel began her aerial training in 2015, beginning with silks and quickly expanding her repertoire to a variety of apparatuses, such as rope, straps, hoop, pole and duo silks. She loves to explore new ways of moving both on the ground and in the air, and using movement to share stories. She has trained in various cities and spaces with elite coaches, such as Lauren Herley, Em Chilvers, Teo Spencer, Lena Alani, and Emiliano Ron.
